Photo Series #20: NetCorps exchange, Phase 2 (Poland), and other stuff - A long, long overdue update. Forget the chit-chat, let's just get started.

NEW, 10/2007: Read my journal entries from Poland!

Whoops. Do you need an introduction? Okay. Back in August 2004, I was selected to go on a NetCorps exchange with Canada World Youth. The exchange was a tri-partite between Canada, Poland, and Ukraine, meant to take place in Grande Prairie, Alberta and Ostroh, Ukraine. Post-election turmoil in Ukraine caused us to be sent to our homes for a month while a program was prepared in Pluznica, Poland. For me, this has worked out tremendously, as I'm going to pack my bags for my Ukraine Canada Corps exchange as soon as I finish typing this.

We had a whole hodgepodge of participants (I say that with all the affection in the world) and supervisors, people coming and going, and it would make your head hurt if I explained it all. But it was partially for these reasons that I wanted to write a book, and I still may someday, or at least a few chapters. Anyway, I may not always have names to go with the pictures. To me, it's like, "Label Sophie?" How could someone not know who Sophie is? You mean there's a world outside the exchange?

For once, nothing! Every one of these pictures was taken with my very own little Canon PowerShot A300. I may come back to this later and include photos from other participants, as I have a few thousand on hand, but I'm dreading the thought of opening that can of worms... =)
Yeah, INSERT SECRET MESSAGE HERE.
