From left to right: ?, CRO!, Mouse (Erin). This was taken during
the Frosh Move-In. Many of us spent Sunday afternoon distributing leis
and flowerlets to raise money for the Liver Foundation. (I sense some sort
of twisted karma in this relationship.) See

Go Travis! Travis and Chris were really cool tonight because they kept
offering girls money provided that they hug me. It was fun. They even had
someone come up and say, "Get me the hell off your website!" and it scared
the shit out of me because I thought she was serious. Anyway, it was hilarious.
Thanks, guys. See the

Counting money.
Matthew (left) was so impressed with us that he accompanied us to Bishop's
a few weeks later. Note that I had no idea who these people were when I
took the picture. They just wanted me to take it. See

Craig (second from left) counting the money he's won betting against
the Canadiens.
Frosh Leaders, from left to right: Chris Cheyney, Travis Coady.
Chris knew how to run every game, and he basically ran the whole night,
minus the auction. See

This woman was my Frosh Leader partner from last
year. This year she's doing something useful instead. See

From left to right: Alex, Chris, Travis. They were so pleasant
because they had been there for about an hour or so sorting the cards back
into decks. I sat down and helped, of course... See

... and I kind of had fun with it. Off to the real casino!
We'd take a pile of cards with the same background and sort them into decks. It was a suprisingly pleasant activity, especially with all the people around. Afterwards I got in the car and listened to CBC Radio Two all the way home. Late at night on the weekends they play stuff for people our age. Anyway, life was good! Casino Night is probably my favourite Frosh Week event because it's so much fun to help out with and it's so easy to interact with people there, and things are blessedly simple.
