(All photos by William Matheson)
Our Frosh Leader group, re-doing our sign after our group name was
dissallowed by a higher authority. Really, though, our stuff was tame compared
to the other groups, and it simply paled in comparision to what
was illustrated on Beach Day. Clockwise from
the gap in the front (where I'm undoubetedly supposed to be sitting):
Chester, Kerra, Mandy (co-Facilitator), Rob (co-Facilitator), Erine, Carolyn,
Meghan, Keith, Alex, Matt, Ian. See

Another group showing off their sign.
Us: "Let's swim!" See

Them: "Let's moon the 102!"
Yes, this is another picture in the "sneaked shots of Julia" series.
What makes this shot interesting, though, is the interesting 'lump' on
one of the guys' chests formed by the elbow of the guy behind him. Thanks
go out to ? (not pictured at Camp) for pointing this out.
That's Shane again in the water. See

This boat was Eric Miller and ?'s pet project. It was probably doomed
from the start, as the glue they used to fix the pieces together said it
required 24 hours to dry, and it got maybe two. In true handyman fashion,
tape was applied over the glue, in hopes of slowing down the sinking process.

This game was one of my favourites. From left to right: Meghan,
Rob, Mandy, Ian, Matt.
Said game. The object is to use the elastic grip to put a nuclear power
plant back together before it explodes. The plastic dishes slide into one
another, and then the ball goes in the top. From left to right:
Kerra, Meghan, Ian, Matt. See

This was another fun game. The curtain would go up, and one member
from each team would get in front of it. The curtain would drop, and whoever
said the name and the associated word of the other player first would win,
and the loser would join the team of the winner. I was terrible at this
game (I'm not known for my quick thinking.), but we all had lots of fun.

All these games made me sleepy.
T-minus zero! After hours of waiting, the boat was finally ready.

Everyone else: Watching the boat. Me: Trying to take
another picture of...
It's kind of sad how people flock to document the misfortunes of others.
I guess we can forget about two laps around the island. See

Er, yeah, Julia again.
Some folks chillin' in the Clipper.
The mass of people leaving the docks at the same time caused the second
structural failure in two years...
... but Adam Maher can fix it.

Eric Miller is probably as good a seaman as he is a cartoonist. =)
(Actually,
Beaver
and Penguin is pretty funny most of the time.)
I was a good boy, so I got to have my supper early.
One plane refueling another. We don't see that much around here.
Supper at last! From left to right: Marcin, Speedbag (Sean Hamilton).

I know Ryan Cox and I are in there, Ash is on Ryan's left (our right), and Adam is in the back right...
Our new, improved group poster.
From left to right: Rob, Matt.
The Talent Show, probably during a game of "Freeze." Standing, right:
Steve "Princess" Slaunwhite.
Matt, narrating our group's skit.
The idea of our play was to sic Conscience and Temptation (Alex, middle
right) on the impressionable Frosh Leaders in clutch situations. For instance,
if a Frosh is crying that their boyfriend left them, the appropriate solution
is not to take them back to your place! (Unfortunately.) Actually,
I had a brief bit part in one of these scenes: after the crying woman and
her friend come on stage and the crying woman says she's so sad that she'll
just ... the next boy who comes along, I go on stage and greet them, and
then they both shake their heads "No," at the same time. I got some laughs
and "Awwww..."s, so I guess I had my moment. From left to right:
Meghan, Erine, Carolyn, Chester, Alex, Keith. See

Musical interlude. Some of the groups, including the SMUSA group shown
here, wrote really funny song parodies. I hope the lyrics aren't lost to
history.
The Facilitator Group, singing their song, and brining the Talent Show
to a close. See the
